Chapter One: Introduction

1.1 Background of the Study
Public sector reforms are vital for enhancing governance, transparency, and service delivery. In Jos South LGA, Plateau State, the media acts as a watchdog and a conduit for public accountability. Through coverage of reforms, the media informs citizens about policy changes, challenges, and achievements, fostering public awareness and engagement. 1.6 Significance of the Study

1.7 Scope and Limitations of the Study
This study focuses on media coverage of public sector reforms within Jos South LGA, Plateau State, excluding other regions and reform areas.
