Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Public sector reforms are vital for enhancing governance, transparency, and service delivery. In Jos South LGA, Plateau State, the media acts as a watchdog and a conduit for public accountability. Through coverage of reforms, the media informs citizens about policy changes, challenges, and achievements, fostering public awareness and engagement. However, the extent and quality of media coverage often vary, influenced by political, economic, and editorial constraints.
